Report: Balkan states ask Erdogan to mull gas supplies with Putin
ANKARA, Sep 14 (PRIME) -- The leaders of Balkan states have asked Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to discuss gas supplies to their countries at his upcoming meeting with Russian president Vladimir Putin to avoid problems during the winter, Haberler.com reported on Wednesday citing Agriculture and Forestry Minister Vahit Kirisci.
The presidents and prime ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Croatia asked Erdogan to discuss uninterrupted supplies of fuel oil and gas with Putin and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the newspaper reported.
Putin and Erdogan will hold talks in Uzbekistan’s Samarkand during the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit to be held on Thursday–Friday.
